The HIMA F8650E is a safety system central module that is used in safety-related applications up to SIL 3 and PL e (Cat. 4). It is certified for use in accordance with CENELEC. The F8650E has a number of features, including:

• Two 32-bit microprocessors

• 1 MB Flash-EPROM

• Two serial interfaces RS 485 with electric isolation

• Four-digit matrix display with selectable information

• Safety-related watchdog with output 24 V, loadable up to 500 mA, short-circuit proof
